A team consisting of four students from the Department of Law, North South University (NSU), has been selected to participate in the oral rounds of the prestigious Nuremberg Moot Court 2022.
The International Nuremberg Principles Academy organizes the annual competition in association with the International Criminal Law Research Unit at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, at the historic Courtroom 600 in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, Germany.
Around 150 renowned universities from all around the globe participated in the competition, out of which only 50 universities advanced to the oral rounds based on the merit of their memoranda. The organizers only accepted three teams maximum per country to participate in the oral round.
NSU is the only university that has received the privilege of representing Bangladesh in this round. NSU is one of 19 universities to have been selected from Asia. NSU’s team in this competition consists of Ms. Sayere Nazabi Sayem, Ms. Gianni Mahsina Haque, Mr. Md. Samsur Rahaman, and Ms. Rabeya Akter Nayna with Nasmin Jabin Noor, Senior Lecturer, Department of Law as their proud coach.
